LOIS BUNTZ

EXPERIENCE

As an experienced fundraiser and consultant, I have raised more than $125 million through annual and endowment campaigns, and chaired capital campaigns including a $14 million human services campus facility and $25 million library project.

I have worked with a wide range of organizations including international programs focused on gender equity, education, health, economic empowerment, and violence prevention through WomenStrong International and Start A Library-Kenya.

As a teacher, author, scholar, I advise and mentor fundraising professionals through AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals) and How Women Lead Global Advisors program.

In 2024 I received the national Elizabeth Hurlock Beckman Award from the Wells Fargo Trust for educators who have inspired a student to create an innovative organization/program that has long lasting community impact. I publish articles about women’s philanthropy and wealth and present frequently at local and national conferences.

Throughout my career I have managed hundreds of employees as a CEO and served on more than 20 nonprofit boards.
